Topic: East meets West Hong Kong. I always like the mix of lady in Cheungsam (traditional Cantonese long dress, no Chinese Qi-po) and men in European suits from the 50s-70s. I have a couple of Cheungsam in Hong Kong myself. A quick historical fact: both Cantonese Cheungsam and Chinese Qi-po are from Manchuria, not China. Thus I'm not going to call Cheungsam a "Chinese" dress. While they may look similar, they are not the same. It's just like people see Vietnamese Áo Dài and think it's a "Chinese dress" is wrong.
